With every new generation of African American artist the definition of
the term R&B seems to change. That's fine but let's not forget that R&B is
merely another label designed to catagorize music and people. Great
music is great music, Black American music is the foundation of all
popular forms of music as we know it today. Besides, what do we think
the B in R&B comes from. For far to long we deney our roots merely to
claim out generational idenity of the moment. As artist we should know
better, as African Americans we should be better.

Good comment, although I'm more of a fan of classic soul, guess that makes me old school...

I am joining the Atlanta R&B group in order to find out more about good music in Atlanta. Gabbie, I heard you sing last year at Woodruff Park and immediately bought your CD. Where can I go to here good R&B and Neo-Soul music?
