professional musician 40 years, songwriter, instrumentalist (piano, 12 and 6 string guitar), singer, roots, blues, rock. Heart to heart. workshops on performance, songwriting and guitar playing, learning how to support the song.
What role do you play in Atlanta's music community?
been here a long time, saw the songwriter/rock/blues/cover/jazz community come about in the late 70s. Yon Rico Scott (Drums for Derek Trucks) was playing at Walter Mitty's with Ricky Keller (Master bassist, producer), and Carol Veto (gospel jazz blues with the voice of a ROCKIN angel. my goodness, it doesn't get any better than that.
Been loving Atlanta ever since I was born here. Long history right downtown to north of Buford. deep south.
