About Me:

I play alto, tenor, and soprano saxes, although alto and soprano are my strongest horns. I was a full-time musician for 17 years. I no longer play full-time any (as of 2001) but still perform with various groups, mainly performing contemporary jazz and original music, as well as some straight ahead jazz and R&B. I also continue to perform on commercials and album projects in both Georgia and North Carolina. In May each year, I appear as a guest soloist with the Elko High School band in Nevada for their annual Jazz Fest. I have appeared there with Mike Vax, Denis DiBlasio, Steve Wiest, Andy Martin, Dan Fornero, and just made my 6th appearance there with my dear friend, saxophonist Eric Marienthal.

What role do you play in Atlanta's music community?

I am a member of Ken Gregory's band, "Solid State", and perform with other groups around metro Atlanta as well. I currently perform or have performed with metro musicians Nick Longo, David Ellington, Mike Haid, Darren Gin, Moffett Morris, Steve Mays, Bob Lewis, Jeni Michelson, Scott Glazer, Chuck Mandt, and John Lewis, as well as many other fabulous musician folks in the area.
