Antic Clay @ East Atlanta Icehouse...for realsies, not for play-play!

After a couple of false starts, I finally got to see my good friend and terrific musician Antic Clay perform at the East Atlanta Icehouse.
Now, I know that some of the bands I've been working with this year will garner national attention one of these days: you know, all over the radio, selling out arenas, on MTV (their houses, not their music). And through it all, I will TOTALLY be able to say "I knew them when..." But last Saturday marked a new experience for me: a venue that I can say the same thing about. The masses have yet to catch on to the EAI yet, but with the awesome renovation job that the place has undergone since it was Echolounge, and second-to-none lighting and sound staff, the place will start selling out shows quickly. Without stepping on toes, I think that the place will soon garner the attention, recognition and international acts that the Masquerade currently possess. And until then, music groupies like me have the place (and the sound system) to ourselves. Wheeeee!
