Caroline Aiken: The Real Deal

Eddie’s Attic will be hosting a live show featuring the sultry bluesy voice of Caroline Aiken aka "The Real Deal" (Performing Songwriter Mag.) Caroline Aiken will be playing on Friday, August 21, 2009 starting at 8:00pm. Admission is $15 in advance/$18 at the door. Caroline reveals her musical talents far and wide, having roots in every corner of the country, and an ever-increasing core of fans. She has recorded with and shared stages with The Indigo Girls, Bonnie Raitt and has been a guest performer at major venues such as San Antonio’s Majestic Theater, Denver’s Red Rocks, and Berkeley’s Greek Theater.

Caroline truly embodies the meaning of an independent musician – acting as her own manager, booking, publicity and travel agent, in addition to production and mastering of her latest CD. Her genre spans many styles, from rock/blues/folk/country, piano ballads to finger style guitar picking, all accompanied by her rich and soulful voice. She is an accomplished and diverse musician, being at home on both guitar and piano. Her performances, direct and sincere, are known for emanating a high level of infectious energy and jaw dropping guitar playing.
